René Ngo is a global entrepreneur, investor, and cultural bridge-builder with more than 35 years of experience across Africa, Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America. His life and work span business, media, health, and investment, shaped by decades of international travel and deep exposure to diverse social and economic environments.

René is Co-founder of Airvolt DOOH Cameroon, where he supports the deployment of Airvolt’s clean-air and digital infrastructure across Central Africa. His role focuses on country venture formation, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development, ensuring that Airvolt’s technology is implemented with strong local grounding and long-term regional relevance.

Before joining Airvolt, René contributed to the creation and scaling of more than 20 businesses across sectors including real estate, health, entertainment, and media. His background includes asset management leadership roles and extensive involvement in the music and film industries, experiences that shaped his understanding of human behavior, influence, and cultural systems.

Over time, René’s focus has evolved toward angel investing and initiatives at the intersection of health, climate, and social impact. He is particularly committed to supporting projects that improve quality of life and resilience in African and global urban environments, while maintaining strong ties to Europe and North America.

René studied broadcast journalism at Hyperion University in Bucharest and is fluent in French, English and Romanian. Based in London, he continues to operate across borders, combining cultural insight, strategic timing, and long-term responsibility in his work with Airvolt and beyond.
